I was out one day, and thought i would take a little video of how I roll up my loose strap ends. my trailer does not have spools and so I am always left with loose ends. just wanted to share. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mla6XRDlQf4

I didn't think there was anyone else that did that way.

I used to roll mine that way until I was driving through the mountains last winter. They froze up like a block of ice and I couldn't undo my straps. I now use little bungee cords with balls on the end to hold the excess straps to the ratchets. Found them at lowes for I think $5. Much easier to get the straps undone.
