All the expedite freight is qualcomm dispatched.
You are correct its Landstar Express America. The folks running there I've talked to were very happy.
I don't have a lot of answers on the Expedited freight, but your best bet would be to call the recruiting number on the website and ask them. Their recruiters ARE NOT JB Hunt recruiters. They are in a league all of their own. JB recruiters wouldn't even get their job app looked at. Landstar does not hire low lifes like JB does.

Thanks for all of the info. The links that I got all looks good, but I am interested in becoming an BCO with Landstar and not driving for BCO fleet owner as these sites seem to be. I guess the best way to find out about becoming a BCO would be to call them as suggested.
Again, thanks for the info.

I think the broker carriers is when they refer to independents or similar that broker freight from them the same as any other broker. -
I just check in with Landstar within the last month, the recruiter said they are not signing on cargo vans of any size right now due to the slow down in freight and not wanting to hurt the earning potential of their proven drivers by over saturation of 'B' units. I understand that and agree with that philosophy to protect their O/O's.
1pissedoffdriver Thanks this.
