I've been kicking ### and taking names for the last 3 years off the very loadboards I recommended to you. If you weren't such an ####### I might log into my ITS account and pick some current info for you. I've looked for hotshot freight on there before and know what it looks like. And LTL stuff also. You'll figure it out.

what is the other point? I don't see a point at all. What just deadhead and accept it? Or "get a real truck" (ie a semi)? I have my CDL and can drive a 1 ton or semi, I prefer the one ton for many reasons, most involve ease of repair, cheaper parts, and dramatically better gas mileage. Plus I can drive my truck as a daily auto. (not that I wont eventually add a semi to my fleet)

Lol Rollin you know nothing about trucking you Schneider JB hunt loving dead heading fool! Somebody with a newly minted CDL knows way more than you running the expedited hotshot type market for 3 years and demanding top rates. The fact that you just turned down a couple month gig that would of netted you $3500 for a 5 day week driving a shipper yard jockey truck means nothing. Shame on you for not knowing the newbie knows more than you.

There was more to that gig than I was gonna divulge but my conclusion was things could go south and it would not be "as advertised" when management realized adjustments might need to be made so I skipped out. Probably will turn out to be a foolish mistake but I've made worser ones before not gonna kill me. There was a guy on here with his own authority who used to hotshot off the loadboards and lived in Alabama. I think he got tired of posters like OP and quit hanging out here. He did it but it was no easy street. Hotshot seems to be the pits unless you are a carrier looking to lease on guys with one ton trucks which are a dime a dozen. If you're not getting round trip rates on your good stuff direct with a hotshot you gonna be running for nothing. Who ever said don't take a reload, backhaul, or whatever the hell you want to call it? I just say good luck finding one because REALLY op you gonna need it for sure.

i am already leased on with a decent company and have great rates on my outbound, but they offer no reloads. that's up to me to find, hence why I am asking the question here.

Hot shot is a very broad term that can mean anything from the genre of pickups hauling goosenecks to expedited high revenue loads.
