Just got word we'll soon be required to carry tire chains for the winter. Anybody here know where to get a good deal and how much should you expect to pay?

From your company, you dont pay for them, Driver only pay for the lite weight Summer chains.

Not all states have tire chains regulations. Check on the states you drive.

Ur, so that's a great answer. Well would be if everyone worked for a company. I love it when company drivers answer a question so definitely and are wrong.
I think if the OP could get them from a company he wouldn't have asked where to buy them. But thanks for playing.

You would be surprised how many OO there are who have never been on the road. Plus, even if he is don't you think others may be interested as to where to get chains for our pickups? I live in Phoenix and stores here do not sell tire chains. I do not have a set and need to find them also. Not that I would ever use them but required to carry them.

So Arizona has a large number of Owner Operators that have never driven on the Big Road, find this to be a reallt hard fact to have any credence. Why would you buy a truck and trailer withut any experience, your statement does not make sence. By the way the first posting by me was a joke, lighten up. Heres where to buy chains in Arizona, very difficult to figure out.

10 second search of google, there were at least 10 more pages. Theres no secret place to buy chains. If your doing it now you can order them for your tire size and dont forget to try them on before you need them. Chains or cables is the next question.

You're right I'm wrong. Thanks for that list. Half those stores do not have stores in Arizona and the one that do don't carry chains in stock. But thanks again.

I'm surprised too but troll through more post and you can read all about the guys who have no experience and buy a dually and trailer. But again I'm just taking about what I took the time to read right here on this site.

Not to worry I can figure out where to order stuff without help.
