There's a load board just for Hot Shots but can't remember what it's called.

agreed on some of the load rates, but to be fair, a lot of those loads are probably aimed at filling out full size tractor trailers. I had looked at some that were priced at $1.20 to $1.70 per mile. not great, but could get a driver into a better lane.

hi, I'm a newbie, got a lot to learn for sure but I'll get there. I appreciated any help.
    I'm located in GA.

When I email them, they told me that hot shot do NOT used the load board like truckers do, also said once I pass all the requirements and get sign in I'll get a list of agents that work with hot shot carriers.
Not quite sure how that is going to work. Anyone has recent experience.
    thanks!!

You can download the broker-carrier agreement from the Landstar web-site. If you meet the requirements and submit the appropriate documentation you shouldn't have any trouble become a Landstar approved carrier. From there, it's largely a fishing expedition. Landstar is a network of independent agencies who have the customer relationships. Some are small one/two person businesses, others are extremely large. Discovering who the good agents are and developing relationships with them is the key to success.
