With many it isn't so much the carrier as the fleet owner . A good percentage of the expedite trucks are run by drivers for fleet owners . Some FedEx Custom Critical drivers complain drivers for a certain fleet get preferential treatment .

I only ran for two; All-State and Panther. All-State SUCKS. They are, by far, the absolute WORST expedite company on earth. More deadhead and idling than anything I had ever seen.
Panther had their slow times, but we (wife and I) ran as a legit team and made great money doing it. We would still be there, but didn't have health insurance (or any other benefits).
In short, stay away from All-State Express.

I will agree with the All State, and would add Nations Express.
June ended good had 1800 per week the last 1/2 of the month, but July has came to a stop. That time of the year

I run for Express-1 and have no complaints at all. I have a good fleet owner who takes care of the truck and the load planning Dept. does there very best to keep me running.

Fed Ex was great- my fleet owner shouldnt be involved with trucking. I am looking to go back soon- I really enjoyed the change from the big truck.
