If you really want to work & make $ go with a company go to truck driving school with them. Get your Class A CDL & the benefits are many. You buy no fuel you don't do a lot of sitting & they get you home when you want & they don't bother you while your home. Incidentally I pay for my phone & I don't answer it unless I want to talk to who is on the other end. Owner of the truck or not. I am at home & I pay for my phone. I am also a human being with feelings too. I do not recommend this expediting thing at all. I am a Class A Driver & I do recommend that. Try Werner, Swift or CR England. Swift has their own school too. Think the other ones might too.

Expediting WAS fun. I hear with the economy, it's now in the toilet. All-State was already IN the toilet

Absolutely I agree. Panther is awesome, it is the truck owners who have the issues and who do not pay, or find loop holes at tax time. You find a good owner and things will go smoothly with panther. I have had good and bad with the owners. Panther does its part. This is the trucking industry and expediting is a world all its own. The economy is very largely to blame in aquiring loads, and yes I would put a fleet owners truck ahead of a single owner any day. it is good business. Kudos to Panther and all the Expediters!! Its tough out there.
