Hey Gang!! I was kicking around the idea of installing a wood floor in my 07 Volvo. Any tips, advice or helpful hints would be much appreciated.
I just thought I'd do something different. I think a wood floor would be sharp with a couple of rugs. My main concern is how to install: Do I nail the wooden floor tiles directly to the truck floor or should I use a piece of plywood first then place the wood floor on that? Do I nail, glue or velcrove the floor tiles? Do I bolt down the plywood to the truck floor and place the wooden tiles on it ?
Like I mentioned, just a thought to install it!!

The CMT show Trick My Truck had a truck that recieved a wooden floor. So you are not the first to do it.

Not sure where you can find one for your truck but they sell them here for the FL Classic, KW W900, 379 Pete http://www.autotrucktoys.com/semi-truck-accessories/Semi-Truck-Floor-Kits-CAT5987.aspx

http://4statetrucks.com also has them.

If you do it yourself, use a flooring like Pergo, better than wood and is a floating system. I would put Dynamat under it for noise and insulation. You don't want a hot floor.

if you use the home depot or menards wood flooring they snap together now, no nailing. its a floating floor.
