Any idea on where to mount a bike on the truck? I have a 05 Pete 379 pulling a 48 flatbed.

    regular flatbed? or Low Boy?
anything stopping you from just hooking a bicycle to the bottom of the trailer?

Plain Flatbed I thought about the bottom of the trailer but I thought it would be very dirty all the time. I am talking about a pedal bike:)

I carry a Mongoose mountain bike with me on the road. I drive a company truck with a double-bunk sleeper and put the bike up there in a TransIt Bag (Available at www.performancebike.com) with the wheels in separate wheel bags. Be sure to tie it down securely so it can't move while going down the road or worse yet if you're in an accident.

I also carry a Stationary Trainer Stand for those times when there's nowhere to ride nearby. It requires using a slick tire on the rear being the knobby tires on a mountain bike are way too noisy to use on the roller. On those days when I'm too lazy to ride I strap on my Saucony running shoes, grab my Ipod & heart rate monitor, and go for a short run.

    Freebird135 and sebo Thank this.
