Stupid Ideas lead to Stupid Mistakes

Coming out of West memphis scales WB on I-40 I was held up by a gaggle of company trucks one evening.

As I was passing I saw JB Hunt and was feeling my oats...........

ME: "Hey JB, you do know your 5th wheel has done gone flat on you don't you?"

JB: "Really ???"

ME: (as I passed him and was pulling ahead of the pack) "Yessir. That 5th wheel if flat as a pancake".

JB: "Okay, I'll check it when I stop."

Me: Laughing to myself and RESPECT for his good natured way of takin the ribbin.

Another Driver: "What are you doing JB ?? !!!.... DON'T PULL OVER !! .... Get off the shoulder and come on. That guy was just messin with you."

ME: (shocked) Look in right mirror and see JB pulling back onto highway from shoulder.

He actually hit the right blinker and slowed, and was gonna pull over to check it.
