To the person driving a white international box truck in Kansas City Kansas that cut me off on the 20th of Jan. around 11:45 am. Thank you for that scare that you caused me and my passenger. :biggrin_25513: 6 feet of room is not enough to safetly fit your truck in front of me. It does not matter if you had you turn signal on. I was in the middle lane right after it goes to three lanes on I-70 right where the lane restriction starts. Road conditions were icy. I was going about 35 mph leaving enough room in front of me in case I had to stop in a hurry. Well this guy decides that he wants to be right there in front of me. He left 6 feet between him and myself, then he decieds that he wants to slow down and starts hitting the brakes. I was already trying to slow down from him just getting in front of me. Then the brakes lights suprised me. I started braking harder. This is where it gets good. My brakes lock up because of the "icy" conditions. I am still getting closer to him. I check my left to the lane that this driver was just in. It looks clear. I check foward agian and notice that I am about 4 feet from his bumper. I brake again and lock the tires up again. I realize this and let up off the brakes to get traction on my steers to be able to make the turn. Once I got my front end into the left lane I was able to get slowed. Somewhere in there I managed to turn on my left hand turn signal, I do not remember doing that as I was wondering what the clicking noise was after I got it straight and realized that my turn signal was on. I missed that truck by less than 3 feet. Gave me quite the scare, my passenger didn't say much for the next hour. :biggrin_25510: That was not nice of you to do to me. That is the most polite way of me saying that without using bad words which I will not do.

Gee, your post scared me just reading about your ordeal. Can't imagine being there. Shame on that other driver. I am sure, like most other rude drivers, he was just in a "rush".

I merged onto I29 just off of MM 149 in ND. I was just going through the gears to get up to speed. A paramount truck lines truck out of Winnepeg MB decided to pass me. No big deal right??? Well wrong. The freaking fool decided that less then a foot was needed to pull back into the granny lane. I had to lock the brakes to keep from hitting the fool. He was still less then a foot infront of me after he made the lane change. Conditions were a little slick with blowing snow etc which is normal for this area this time of year. he did not even bother to use his signal light.

I ended up passing him since he had slowed down to just under 65 mph in a 75 mph. He had his headset on and I could see his lips moving. So he was talking on the phone. Freaking idiot.

I still remember a few years back I was driving down a freeway in Saskatoon, SK and a truck pulling super-b's cut into my lane when I was at about the end of his first trailer. Put me on the shoulder just about in the ditch doin' 90kph. Was not very happy with that fellow.

Folks, if you have time to get company info and such for a post here, you have time to pick off a truck number. Drop a dime on the silly sob, whether by phone or the company website. I know, the "I don't wanna snitch" thing. Forget that, you will possibly removing a ####### who very well might get somebody killed. We got way too many of these idiots out here now.

How you gonna feel if down the road somewheres you see the same DA sitting on top of a car with mom and kids in it? You could maybe have saved innocents by calling that little 911.

I didn't even think about getting the company info from that truck. I was just glad not to have hit him. There is always that one thing that a person forgets to do during a situation that they are reminded of later that they should have done and this is it.
