Truckjobseekers?

Anyone know anything about this free service? I found it in RPM mag. I started to fill out the app. but then it asks for SSI and DRivers license #. I dont feel good about giving that out to a complete unknown. Are they reputible? It the info secure? Is this site for exp. drivers only?

if its a secure website, then your SS number is protected (usually). i would just put in all "zero's" and see if at least you can advance to the next page. then, where the "comments box" might be at the end, explain your reason for putting in all those zero's. tell any prospective employer you would gladly give them more information about yourself when they call you, as you feel wary about giving out your SS number on the web.

P.S., i just went there to "sign up", and they do not require the SS number for the online application. only the areas where you see the asterik (*) do they want info.

Re: Truckjobseekers.com?

It is like telemarketing...once they get your number it is almost impossible to get out of their dialing network.

you have some working room here. you can either leave your home phone number, or an e-mail address.

i choose e-mail, that way i can "spam alert" anything i don't want.

Re: Truckjobseekers.com?

Oh no, JB Hunt will NEVER, EVER give up, trust me. I STILL get constant calls from them and have not put an app in in many years now. They are the worst possible company to get ahold of your phone numbers! Then, not only does JB Hunt themselves call you, you'll get on myriad other recruiting services lists and its all over with but the crying then. Be EXTREMELY careful filling out online apps! I remember doing that years ago and I thought the mailman was going to slap me in the chops as he brought up literally mounds of trucking company junk mail to me that could not fit in the box. It is amazing how ravenous these companies are in trying to recruit drivers...IF only they would be so in keeping them...

Re: Truckjobseekers.com?

Very true about JB hounding you. They have been calling my wife forever, with various job offers. She has never driven a truck, she did however look inside one that I was driving once.I have threatened these a--holes and told them to take her name off their list, which they agree to do.About 3 or 4 days later they are calling back again.have no idea how they got her name.Maybe one of these days I will be going thru AR.will have time to stop and kick some a--.
