The first time I handled chains this year was last Monday, my first day at home.

I took the 10 chains that came with the truck, removed them from the rack, untangled them, then managed to get 8 back on the rack in some semblance of order. The other two went under my bunk.

I also found out how desperately out of shape I was (not that I didn't know it already!!)

If you didn't use them all winter...why were they "all tangled" in the first place?

sounds like a certain Packard needs to take Otter's Studebaker Class in "hanging iron"....back on the racks!!!!

I got 'em like this...have had this truck about two months, and never had to use them. But I also got tired of looking at them as they were...sloppy and tangled. I hate presenting that kind of image....

One way to spot the rookie or the driver that doesn't care about outward appearances.....

Their chains are all "scraggly looking" hanging on the rack. Probably the same decorator inside the truck to boot!
