Just curious. Did the cop tell you what the actual infraction was? Whatever he thought was wrong should have been fixed before you left. Meaning he should have told you.

Another question. Do you have pipe stakes? I believe they are required now.

That's kinda what I was thinking. Don't securement infractions have to be corrected prior to being released?

How the heck are you supposed to touch every pipe unless they are stacked on dunnage giving you access to them?

That is why pyramid loaded pipe sucks. I don't haul pipe unless it's strip loaded. Get an attorney.

The 100 bucks isnt the issue noob its the huge amount of csa 2010 pts he will get that will stay on his record for 5 yrs. I haul a lot of pipe and I would fight this one.

An unsecured load is the highest pointed CSA2010 offense you can get @ 10 points. Fight it tooth and nail.

I would agree..fight it...and if you werent put OOS or didnt have to correct the securement, then it couldnt have been strapped wrong. Was the officer a young guy? maybe new? I try to find out how long any particular officer has been dealing with the DOT rules somewhere in our conversation..Just so I know who I am dealing with.
