I'm camped out at the Deming, NM Wallyworld. I was hoping to make it into AZ before it hit but no luck. Southern NM just can't handle the snow, lol!
Anyone else stuck in this NM winter storm?

Packrat: "Im delayed by the snow. Gonna shut her down for the night"
Dispatcher: "Where are you?"
Packrat: "Southern New Mexico"
Dispatcher: "Packrat quit playing games and get down the road before you miss your appointment." -
I just seen that on the news. Hang tough and stay warm!

I've lived in the Southern NM and West Texas area all my life and it doesn't take much snow to prompt the state police to shut down the roads. -

How come you shut down at Wallyworld instead of going to the truck stop? (just curious)

I was lucky to get to where I was. They ended up lining trucks along the frontage road after Walmart and the Kmart next door filled up.
The road opened up around 10 this morning and my drop in Phoenix rescheduled for 9pm tonight. I'm here in Eloy, AZ taking a shower break.Big Don Thanks this. -
Glad to hear u made it out. Us northern folk are used to the snow but it seems that everyone of the 4-wheelers south of I40 just drive on their tires till they blow. Then some snow hits and they wonder why their bald tires don't have any grip LOL
