I was accused of a roll back on a vehicle, which did'nt happen. Could'nt contact the safety manager ,so I reported the incident to my dispatcher which in turn did'nt inform the safety dept. in a time manner. So I was charged with not reporting an accident that end up DAC report and was fired. Now this report is hendering my job search. Are there any companies that do not use DAC or any advice on how to remedy my situation.

file an appeal to DAC Service explaining the situation. I would also file a complaint with the your states (or the state the company was based in) Dept. of Labor explaining the situation. As for DAC Services, they are engaging in a form of slander of credit, but you will need to go after the employer first.
Most small MOM/POP companies don't use DAC. -
i would say 90+% of smaller companys less than 50 trucks dont use dac.
iv never worked for a company that used dac but from the storys i read on here, seems like there should be a class action lawsuit for publishing false information, slanderdog-c Thanks this. -
Does your company use qualcolmm? Did any of your correspondence with dispatch come via qualcolmm. If so, that can be used to show you reported the accident in a timely fashion. If you had it and didn't use it to CYA then you are SOL.
