I've heard of things like that going on. But it isn't just that driver you're putting at risk, it's other drivers or god forbid an innocent family on the road with you or them. That's where the intellect comes in...this.k before you act!

Trust me I understand. I wouldn't go that far. Lowered landing gear, pretty funny. But I wouldn't mess with the fifth wheel. I agree with you

I've pop an air line or 2 before. No harm unless He's too dumb to figure out an air leak or that the trl tires are dragging.

I saw a new one. Driver pulled up to a fuel pump in warren, IN yesterday. Ate food and then went to sleep. Seriously.

The Pilot in Denver put's a kink in the rules. That TS is so small and always packed, to find parking after fueling is next to impossible. You don't need to dilly dally, but if you need something your going to break the rules with this one.

If I'm not routed specifically there for fuel...I avoid! No sense adding to the cluster ####!

One thing I learned from my instructors in school was when you park, Lock the trailer brakes only and pull forward, while you still have pressure pulled on trailer, lock the tractor brakes. Makes the 5th wheel next to impossible to pull because it is in a bind. Just a little fyi. They said it wont make you safe completely from having to check but it really makes it hard form someone to get you.

impossible only to drivers to stupid to have a 5th wheel puller......If you try to do it by hand it wont move easy and your destroy your back getting it out....with a 5th wheel puller just give it a good pull and it'll coem out just fine
