also if your running illegal, pop it off the window, and put it under your leg before you get to a closed scale so that it doesnt log you going by. I had mine on Velcro strips so i could take it off and put it back on real easy.

I always follow the "best for me" rule: if it's a choice between following the prepass or the signs, whichever one says "keep on truckin'", that the one I follow.

Never had a problem, but if I did, I figure I can always play stupid.

where does it say in prepass that it LOGS you... I have had Pre Pass since 2000 and ive run the comic books to the limit and been pulled in at banning scales on I-10 in Cali and drove away no prob...

    From Prepass.com
PrePass adheres to a strict data confidentiality policy and takes great steps to ensure that PrePass cannot be used to measure or monitor driver speeds when bypassing weigh stations. To ensure that your transponder is read and signaled properly, you are required to follow the posted speed limits. We further encourage adherence to the speed limit to ensure your own safety . PrePass does not retain any timestamp information that could be used for enforcement purposes.

Every time that thing Beeps, it logs the Time/Date/Location. If you get in an accident you can bet those records WILL be pulled.

yes it does, I've past a scale got the green light, turned around pull it out the window and came around again and it didnt do anything, and had to pull into the scale. I've done it a 100 times

Easiest is to put it back in the static bag it came in, that should black the signal as well.
