I live in Vermont I make on average of $46-$52,000 a year driving local tractor-trailer I have four years of tractor-trailer driving experience in eight years of class B work the wife and I are sick of the cost of living up here in Vermont and we have friends and family that live in San Antonio Texas Will be easy for me to find a job down there keep in mind that I'm not looking to go over the road there're some job postings that working in the oil fields bring in 61,000 a year is that a realistic number

dang $52k a year in VT is about enough to live in a 1972 trailer, in the richmond trailer park
thats exactly why i left VT, to exspensive of a place to live, and it isnt even a good place to live haha

i already knew that gotta have a college degree and a good job and a wife with a degree and a good job to have a nice house in VT, or like we did inherhit enough to buy a house up there lol

I do believe SA would be quite a culture shock. Do you speak Spanish? The heat is bad out there, and I'm a Floridian! Good luck to ya, but I wouldn't move my kids to SA.
