If CRST pays to train you and get your CDL, they are entitled to either recoup these costs directly from you or to require you to work for CRST at satisfactory levels for a given amount of time to satisfy the "training contract" or whatever you'd sign prior to training. Other than that, no carrier can make you "commit" to them if you're an experienced "walk on" OR paid your own way through CDL school.
