need a job but I have a bad driving record

Ok here is the deal. I recently graduated from us truck driving school and after I graduated I have run into one company after another truning me down because of my driving record. Totally stupid on my part for having a bad driving record but here is what my driving record looks like 3 tickets in 3 yrs and 2 suspen in 3 years. totally stupid on my part because the only reason for the suspen were due to me not paying the tickets. so my question is am i just screwed untill i dont have the suspen on my record for the last 3 years of does anyone know of ANY company that would hire me with a bad driving record

I'm sorry, but your bad driving habits are only half of the problem. You're inability to recognize that these may be a problem before shelling out dollars for training for a field where a good driving record is generally considered a prerequisite is also a problem. But the bigger problem I see is that some greedy salesman for some unfit CDL training school took you on either with this knowledge or without having bothered to ask for this information and counseling you that you'd have this problem.

3 years clean MVR is helpful, but the suspensions may require more time.

I suppose you could try Southwest Farms on US50 about 10 miles east of I25. As quickly as he goes through drivers, he might be desperate enough, and you sound like your situation is desperate enough to actually work for him. Although I wouldn't get your hopes up... even he has an insurance provider who gives the "yay" or "nay", and, as you've already found out the hard way, you're a bit prone to receiving "nays". Maybe Lee Hing Food Company in Co. Springs, but it wouldn't be worth the commute, and you'd end up driving a 26k GVW box truck, anyhow.
Here's the problem... CSA2010 brings the hammer down on carriers, as well. When you turn in that application, all they know about you is your past driving record. Three tickets in as many years is not a good sign, not to mention that more than three points within a three year time period will cause most insurance providers to give you the big, "HELL NO" stamp. That is, if anyone's willing to take a chance on you - with a record like that, I'd be surprised if anyone hired you to drive a pickup.
Have you considered the military? The Air Force and Navy both have occupations which actually require a CDL (whereas tactical vehicles more commonly used in the Army and Marines are exempt from CDL requirements). It might give you an opportunity to get some time behind the wheel, and a few years of stable employment while you let you put a little distance between yourself and your driving history.
You may also want to consider looking at the gold mine in Cripple Creek. They probably wouldn't hire you as a driver, but if you got trained and certified as an equipment operator, you can make a pretty penny there.

Get your own authority theres some company out there you can get insurance from.
Thats the quickest way around being told no we can't hire you.

Do you think it's wise for someone that was short sighted enough to pursue a career driving with such a bad driving record to get their own authority? I'm sure that sounds judgmental and it probably is but it seems like just one more poor decision if you go this route.

get a job doing something else and time will pass, you can apply again in 3 or so years. suspensions are pretty serious, regardless of the "excuse". 3 tickets in 3 yrs would make it so most carriers wouldnt hire you, without even having ANY suspensions...
