what's still going on in minnesota
i only caught part of the lockridge report today. but it was enough to hear them talking about minnesota still ignoring the judges order.
i went through there on the 90 couple weeks back. but the only scale westbound was closed.

OOIDA has had a lawsuit against the MN state police DOT squad. they were doing searches and asking drivers dumb questions like, you got any magazines or a tv in your truck.>??
if you answered YES, you got a cab search, then they nailed you for being too tired to drive, as youa re SUPPOSED TO BE sleeping in the sleeper, NOT watching tv or reading magazines..
if i can find the OOIDA article, i will post it soon.
wow..

and to add insult to injury...??

last i heard was that ooida actually won the lawsuit. and minnesota has been told 3 times to stop the practice. but apparently they are still defying court orders.
least, that's what i was getting for what brief period i heard on the radio thursday.

i do not know if it is the state that is doing this, or the commandant of the state police DOT truck squad. if the commandant, then he ought to be fired by the guberner.

I read the criteria they were using about year ago and couldn't help but laugh.
The state paid some retired moron police to write this sheet up.
The bad part is they was asking driver to praticapate in a survey, which was actually the report they was using to
put them OOS.
I can't beleive these drivers didn't know the magic words. NO I don't want to praticapate in your survey.

It's still going on, I did get a clean inspection out of it, and I was many miles from any scale house. Had to hammer down all the way across the state to get to my destination in time to load, though.
