Music why do drivers stand for governed trucks?

i would never take it. if my company decided to govern me at a speed less than the speed limits in my area , I would find another company

now, if your paid by the hour, this doesn't really apply. but why should any driver who is paid my the mile have a truck that can only go 65 in a 75. doesn't seem fair to me at all.

    rant over.

Because they are idiots. I wouldnt drive a governed truck. Funny how 70mph is a hot rod rig these days.

Because haveing a job is importent to them?
Because thats what the company that owns the trucks want?
Because some drivers (like me) never leave a 65MPH state?

Yeah right! You'd be the first in the door if you needed a job, and only an idiot would make a statment like"I wouldnt drive a governed truck" You never know what the future holds.

doesn't matter what the future holds. if the law governs all trucks in the future, that one thing. but a company deciding to govern a driver that is paid by the mile, is BS, and i wouldnt stand for it at all

Because they need a job.. I have owned fast trucks slow trucks.. now I am all out fuel mileage and my csa score.. Thinking of taking a truck to Cat right now and having it cut back to 75ish right now..

OH and it is their truck... they can do what they want with it.. If you don't like it go buy your own truck.. Then when you go broke you can go beg for your old job back.
