Truck seat cushion?
I am a otr driver looking for advice on a seat cushion to make me more comfortable. Have any of you guy's used any and what is good and not so good? I have found one that uses water and air and has a back cushion with it as well. They seem to have a lot of good reviews. Aqua aire is the name of it.

Do not get the Aqua Aire!! I gave $75 for one and I actually believe after driving just 4 hours My ### was killing me & legs. They will not take it back & told me to try it with less air or more water, but I have done all that & I was still numb & hurting.

Go to a Relax the Back store. They have several differnt kinds and they will take them back if you don't like it. I have the memory foam wedge with a cutout for the tail bone, like it so much that when the first one wore out after several years I bought another.

I don't know that it's possible to sit more than 4-5 hrs and not need to get up and walk or lay flat on your back for a bit.
I put a Wondergel inside my 17 year old seat. I actually cut out foam to place the cushion inside. Added back support and 3'' of lumbar support made a big difference. $75 for the cushion, a bit of welding, some staples and time.
Caution though I remember I read some other driver bought a Wondergel and didn't like it. I like mine inside the seat just fine.

Seat cushions are a sure fire way to get hemroids. I recommend not to use them.

It doesn't make sense to run hard and then take a break close to your destination. Try breaking your day up in even thirds and your legs aren't pushed to the brink. You have to get out and get the legs circulating on a regular basis.
Lower the seat until you can lay your feet flat on the floor without the seat pushing on the bottom of your legs cutting your circulation off. About 4 inches either side of the knee you have the main artery and one large vein running on the back side of your leg and is the most crucial area to cut off leg circulation. In other words the front 3-4 inches of the seat causes the most problems.
Though there ain't a complete remedy, fix the end of the seat problem and watch your whole bottom side feel better.

seat cushions DO NOT cause hemorroids. neither does sitting on concrete, riding motorcycles.
heavy lifting and straining does.
been there, done that and had the surgery to fix it. lol
ask a doctor.
