That's not what I've seen. Of course, that was back in the 70's. The federal marshals do work for the federal courts.

Then, do you want to explain why I actually saw one of those deadbeats being hauled into court by a federal marshal?

Not calling you a liar, but would have to see it to believe it.

Yeah... there are a ton of US Marshall stories out there
Something I witnessed years ago while on business for the military. I was still in at the time.

Living in San Diego I've delivered to military bases more than most, and with more than a few companies, I could write a book on some of the things I seen and done on a military base. My first time in Coronado CA. (in a truck) witch is a separate city from San Diego that leads to North Island NAS. The year was 1980, the guard at the back gate said go past the two aircraft carriers, the building your looking for will be in the back. I had sac cement on a flat bed, I thought I was delivering to a warehouse on base, so I went left away from the carrier. I ended up going past buildings on my left side that looked like they might receive my type of load. On the right side was a lot of open land, my radio was playing give me forty acres and IL turn this thing around, how ironic. As I started to turn around pointing away from the buildings and looking like I might drive straight out into the open area, I was approached very fast by many cars with flashing lights, one car pulled right in front of me. Men with guns got out just holding their weapons as one man with his hand on his side arm came up to me and asked what I was doing. I sad truing around and looking to make a delivery. It was the Military Police and many others (unknown) The officer said do you know that you are on the Tarmac for navel aircraft ?. I said to him that it was not feeling right to me, that's why I'm truing around, and that Iv not been driving a truck very long, so the open area looked like a safe place to flip a u-turn. The officer said its only a taxi lane but bad things can happen when trucks and plans come together. They had no signs in the back where I entered, and the land had an arch as you looked out toward the main runway. The MP'S escorted me to my delivery and all went well after that. Next time I'll tell you about my hazmat spill at FORT IRWIN, that was a fun day !

Deliver to Ft. Carson, F.E. Warren, Schreiver/Peterson AFB, Buckley AFB, Kirtland AFB, Ellsworth AFB all the time. Most PITA to get, Ellsworth, demanded the POC meet me there, even tried to inspect their HHG load. Least security, Peterson. But, when we do Ft. Carson, there is so much construction and changes, they will often give outdated maps that get you lost. Last summer I ended up in the single family residential area because the maps didnt' make sense. Finally wandered up to a gate that let me make a U-turn (after they moved 10,000 lbs of reenforced barriers) and re-enter then I was off to find my turn, which ended being an unload on a flight with heavily armed Blackhawks idling nearby. Co-worker and I wanted to drag race semi's on the runway but the CMS (Command Master Sgt.) in charge, while getting a chuckle, didn't think it would be appreciated and was afraid we might be used for target practice.

At one time we were on Kirtland every other day, after the 6 th time, they stopped inspecting us, just waved us through and off we went.

I found a link online for shipping/receiving. Yep, that's the address I'm going to, so that's a relief. S/R hours 630-1500, well that's good, I guess I can be early? Only saw info on the main gate so I'm guessing they just have the one.

This could go better than the time I was bobtail in San Antonio and almost ended up inside Ft. Sam Houston. whoops!
I live in Panama City. Take Thomas drive off of US 98 follw the sign that says "NCS" there is only one gate it will be a left turn and they have a commercial lane. The civies can be dicks but the active duty guys are pretty good. They may escort you to your delivery if you ask.

There is no parking for a truck there unless you want to park at the old walmart on the corner of thomas drive and 98.
There is a Kangaroo fuel stop about a mile away on the east side of the bridge with resturants nearby.

If you deliver meat a Vetrinarian has to inspect it before it's unloaded. Just a Mil Standard. Delivered every week to several basesand it is just routine. However, Edwards FB will have lockdowns and you have to sit and wait until they open the gates whilst holding you and everyone else a prisoner. Been there several times when they did it.
