Springs vs Airbag suspension
Hi all,
I'm planning on buying a Twin Steer Agitator and was just wondering what is the best type of suspension to have? I get two biased opinions from O/D's who drive one or the other but I wanna know from anyone who has had experience in both. Is there a big difference and what are the pros and cons for both types?
Also if you decide to go for airbags, is it also beneficial to install airbags for the front steers?

Air will ride better. But will not flex as well as spring if off road. Spring is little more durable. Max durableablity is the hernderson walking beam. But very rough ride. So how and where it will be used will be what choice is best for yout app. Hope this help.

How will springs cope with corners? Will it be better than airbags? (as in body roll) I've noticed that alot of garbage trucks have springs on them if not all of them. I know a few agi trucks that have rolled over and they all have airbags and the majority of rollovers are Mack trucks but that's beside the point.
