Off-Ramp parking guide Since it doesn't exist, I am going to start a new project soon. A national guide to off-ramp parking. I plan to map, photograph and document off-ramps and nearby parking. The guide will be free as a PDF download when I'm done. With luck I can pick up a few sponsors for adverts inside the guide, but if not, that's ok. I intend to fill a market demand and help out the industry a little. If you have any suggestions for this project and how I can make it appealing please feel free to contribute.
If you wish to help on the project, let me know either in this thread or via PM. Your contribution will earn you credits in the guide as well as a full page advertisement for your company, business or product (as long as it's clean).
I expect it to take approx. 12-16 months, and continue with rolling updates as availability changes. I will focus mainly on interstates to begin with.
Updates to the project will be posted here in this thread in the coming months.
One theme I will be pushing is to leave the ramp clean so it doesn't fall under scrutiny by the highway dept. and become restricted.
Your ideas are welcome.

u may want to re-think doing this. in indiana, illinois, some parts of ohio, parts of oklahoma, michigan, new mexico & numerous other states will ticket u for parking on an on/off ramp. it is considered the highway & illegal to park there. may want to check with state, county, local laws before getting urself invested in all ur research on doing this, just sayin

Yes, I know many states outlaw it. I will only cover those that permit it. Thanks for the input!

If you're trying to make a profit off this, I don't think it will be much success as many companies wont allow it in the first place. Hence not much of a market.
