I am broken down in Savannah and was wondering if there is anyone who can recommend a repair shop that is reputable and reasonable. I am trying to avoid just going to the Freightliner dealership, or some local place that I get sent to by a roadside emergency service (like Fleetnet or Downtime/Dorsey).
I have a 2005 FRHT with the autoshifter, and I have a problem with the tranny. I think I have a problem with the electronic module...
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can lend me!!!

AVOID XXX truck and trailer repair. If its a tranny issue dealer might be your best option

That does suck and on the weekend too.No matter where you go they're going to charge time and a half. Most trucking companies just go online for a reasonable repair shop. How about your company, maybe they have a list of repair shops they do business with.

You probably are having a problem with the X-Y module on the transmission itself...you are better of to take it to the dealer cause they will most likely have the parts you need for the repair...but I got to warn you if that part needs to be replaced it will be around $2000 with the labor
