I am in texas and work for Aronald transport. For the past few months they have missed paying me for my loads. Its only one here and there but they all add up.The problem is they are owned by USX and that is who does the payroll. They just dont care because i work for Aronold. Any one have and suggestions.

Dude, a little more info before we recommend you permanently ruin your hire-ability in the future as a trucker. I assume these loads that weren't paid are because of some missing paperwork, perhaps? Are you SURE your making their cut-off times? What is the response when you question payroll on these loads? Is it really that just for the h$ll of it, they sometimes decide to NOT pay you for a load that is complete and proper? If this is a problem and it their issue, then I'd recommend quitting when empty at a terminal before "putting a lien on a truck".

They are aware of they owe me money .The problem is USX does the payroll for Aronald . I turn in my pro # to aronald in a transflow . They send them to USX and USX pays .But Aronald continues to loose them and USX will not take them from me.They say it is because they dont know if it the right numbers and aronald says they are. I am on a dedicated HEB run. I run the same place the same days and same time . They may pay me for 3 days and say we will give you the other 2 days on the next check. Maybe i have just let it get to far out.

I do have a signed contract with them that has a guarantee of flat daily pay at a set amount.

You need to take it up the chain in your company. Start with a pen and paper. Talk to your DM and go up from there. Write everything down, date, time and what took place with the conversation. You should have already been doing this.

Don't stop til you get results. Persistence meets Resistance

You cannot put a "lien" on a truck. You'll have to deal with them thru the courts, if needbe. You'll have to start at the beginning of the chain which is Arnold.

10 4 thank everyone for the advice . Just going to talk to a lawyer in a bit. I have used the chain of command and have it all documented. They bought us to keep us out of bankruptcy. So i guess we are just the stepchild.

if you got to court and get a judgement against them, then you can get a writ issued to seize assets. but its a large pain in the tail, and will cost some money.

your best bet is to go to the labor board in texas.
