    not very... I see your in fairfild CT, J polep in west haven in hiring right now, your peddling (over 150% touch), but your home everynight and can make decent money, and they take new drivers, i left about 3 years ago, (I was out of chicopee)

    Since the OP doesn't currently have any Family obligations keeping him near home, OTR now is an opportunity that may not be prudent for him down the road. Might as well "sew his wild oats" while he is still free. Local will always be there. And Local companies recognize and value OTR experience. OTR companies could care less about Local experience.
