Hello fellow truckers,
I am a newbie and recent grad from an independent school and want to make a good start.
Fellow students are telling me Maverick makes their drivers personally responsible for glass damage en route on a haul.
Is there any truth to such things? I am asking my recruiter this same question.

best bet is confirm/deny with your recruiter, and confer with other glass haulers in the Maverick thread in the company DAC area.

i've worked for Maverick in the past, and i'm by no means a company cheerleader, the training you will receive in Little Rock, and subsequently in Laurenburg, NC is top notch. -
I drove for Maverick Specialized for a little over 2 years and was responsible for damage but not charged. A few times I had a cracked piece here are there, once I broke most of a load to avoid an accident. They didn't like that and gave me a couple points. I was a company driver and had heard that ICs were treated differently, but I'm not sure.

I received a call from their recruiter today about doing the glass haul I graduate next week and am leaning really hard towards them they look and sound like a very good company do they pay you to tarp your load on top or the great mileage pay.
