Hard luck for sure, the dogs would've been it for me too. Sometimes trainers can be pretty insensitive and when you are just getting started you "may" have to put up with some things that you normally wouldn't. You really need to get with a company and stay for a year or 2 now that you already have had multiple jobs inside of a year.....good companies DO NOT like folks that have that sort of history. Have you thought of the food service industry or maybe a construction company...yeah the construction jobs may on the lower end as far as pay , but you need to show some STEADY employment before you throw your name in the hat for those higher end jobs. Stuff like this may sound kinda judgmental , but in the transportation industry you have a high wall to get over when you 1st start...Good Luck

I was going to mention Melton as well.. one thing about your work history, it may look bad but Melton will listen to your side.. let you explain why you did your job hopping.. before deciding. I am a road recruiter and could answer any questions you may have if you'd like. :)

C'mon Pete, the guy wasn't even getting paid at the one job and who the heck wants to be teaming with another driver AND 2 dogs! He wasn't whining and complaing he left those jobs for valid reasons , as would just about anyone else.
The first job wasn't worth the money for the time he was putting in each day. So many people complain about drivers hauling cheap freight and that they will only haul for a certain amount so they can remain profitable. Well this guy did the same thing, he wasnt being compensated fairly for his time, the money wasn't enough to meet his means , so he moved on to find more suitable employment. I think he has done the right thing by standing up for himself and not letting screwballs walk all over him .

Sounds like you are paying your dues. Don't let these fly by night #### jobs get you down. Do a good job and the right one will come along. Good luck.
