    I'm new to this forum and wanted to jump right in. I was wondering what you like best about your job as a truck driver? I've asked my husband what he liked most, and he responded that he liked to drive, see new places and meet new people. So ladies? Gentlemen? Your take?

    I have spent the last few days reading through hundreds of posts & responses regarding all these laws & regulations and I'm at a loss for words! Trucking today is nothing like I remember from my childhood going on trips with my uncles. It's a crying shame! This industry must be the most under appreciated and least respected career I think I've ever seen. I've always been grateful and considerate of truckers, but more so now than ever. The men & women who work this industry have my up most respect! I truly admire y'all! I, myself, do not think I could even begin to understand or actually do what y'all do.

    the worst part is not the government or the lobbyists

    the worst part is drivers bending over and accepting it

    It's easy....

    You wake up in the morning, pull your pants on, crawl into the drivers seat and roll down the road.

    You can't control much past the reach of your arm, so it's not worth getting worked up over.

    Each day that you can wake up and change air into CO2 is a good day. At least you aren't feeding the worms.
