I figured i would share this with everyone. If you run toll roads like the pa pike and are paying cash your getting ripped off bad. last week i was paying cash when i decide to do like my buddies did. I ran from exit 75 new staton pa to exit 351 in philly. class 7 and cost me 150 bucks cash. my dad ran the same route with me at the same class and with his ez pass paid 117 bucks. Now here is the trick. if you go through pa it will cost you all your arms legs and your first 3 kids to get one, right. so go through VA. it cost a 25 fee to get it and about 3 days it will be at your house. you can than add funds as you want or need with a no min requirement like pa has on commercal ez passes. they work the same as pa ez pass and easyier to get and cheaper. than you can save lots on tolls........good luck

Did not know that, I know Florida is less expensive also if you use sun pass than cash.

WV turn pike is $6.75 vs $5.87 w/ EZPass. I beleive those numbers are correct, may not be exact, but close

I haven't really been paying attention to the read out sign.

Isn't NY the way to go? Don't you need to have the NY ez-pass to get the discount on all of it including the NYC bridges?

    Noggin and Hardlyevr Thank this.

Illinois I-Pass is a good one. It is recognized the same as EZ-Pass. Small deposit for the device and self controlled account balance. NY-NJ Port Authority bridges give discount to EZ-Pass (GW Bridge, Outer Bridge Crossing, ETC), MTA bridges (Throgs Neck, Whitestone, etc) do not.

They sell them at some of the service plazas, on the toll roads. I got mine at the Belvedere Plaza. Took about 20 minutes to park and go sign up and walk back to the truck with it.
