Tried aluminum polish? I've heard WD-40 works pretty good. Maybe Nevrdull.

I assume you have aluminum wheels, and chrome cleaner on those probably didn't help matters any. But it all begins with the quality of the factory polish and then they have to be maintained with subsequent polishes once or twice a year and kept fairly clean in the interim. You'll get a variety of responses on who does the best/worst job and what is the best product. Some drivers may praise one guys work and others my thinks his work sucks. I think it has to do with how well they are maintained once they are properly polished and the regions you [don't] operate in in the winter.
