I'm teaming with a guy and he blindly accepts a load from NJ to AZ. Asks me to check the preplan after I got out of the sleeper. I look it over and we don't have the team hours to make delivery b/c I have to take a 34. He starts complaining and going through the Qualcomm trying to get me to edit logs so I can get maybe 6 extra hours. I'm like "man, I'm not falsifying logs b/c you messed up". He gets pissy and tells me "its gonna be a long trip for you".
Hell with him. Let him learn from his mistake.
Should I let sleeping dogs lie?

You may want to think very hard about all this. You do NOT need this kind of stress. There is enough "legitimate" stress as it is already. -
how come you dn't have hours to drive and he does????
-
I'm driving around 10 - 10.5 hrs and his lazy self barely does 9. We have some home time coming up and it'll be decision making time.
-
And do you absolutely have to do a 34?
-
Also, he is not lazy because he will only drive 9.5 hours. The stresses of the road wear different in different ways
-
Yeah. After on duty time, Qualcomm yells at me saying I'm out of hours. Checked status and says I need the reset.

x#1 Thanks this.

Get a new partner! I don't cheat on my logs for anybody! It has cost me plenty of money, but the 2 not at fault accidents I have had in the 9 years I have been driving would have cost me alot more if they had found out that I had been cheating on my logs.
Shed527 Thanks this. -
How is it possible for you to edit out 6 hours?
