lol....maybe he/she figured the view would be better from that point. I'd like to see the dashcam recording with sound.

That's a Werner driver that got lost!

How in the heck did he make it that far?

You really have to be green to fade your brakes that early down the mountain. Maybe he thought there was an on ramp on the other side? lol

It's soooo pretty here I think I'll take my 34 right here! :)

Perhaps he thought he could save some miles by jumping the hills.

So there were no skid marks before the ramp which leads me to believe there wasn't an air pressure loss. Is it even possible to have brake fade that early down such a short grade? I'm guessing that driver had to be going 90+mph with zero attempt to brake to make it up that far. Not sure the pic does it justice but he was CLOSE to the end of that ramp. Closer than it looks in the pic anyway.

Your ok, that's a good pic. Someone needs to put a marker there for the longest runaway truck distance achieved. He/she doesn't realize they set a new record. Someday he/she could drive the grandkids down the mountain and show where grandpa/grandma set the long distance record on a Monteagle Mtn. runaway truck ramp.....lol
