I was wondering if anybody could help me out. I have a Western Star 4964F Triaxle dump truck and the other day after fueling up, I released the air brakes, and I heard air blowing out the exhaust on the modulator valve, on the passenger side. Well we where able to rig it up by bypassing the valve so I could make it home. I went out and bought 2 new modulator valves, and a check valve. Well after replacing everything, air is still blowing out the exhaust of the modulator and the check valve now.

    Thank you

Man, check valves are one way valves. Did you install it backwards? I dont know whats wrong with your truck, but I understand valves.

If the check valve is leaking, there could be a low pressure problem. However, any negative return on a check and it should close.

Everything is hooked up correctly Big Jon. Me and the mechanic are extremely baffled by this.

I may be totally off base, but you don't have a brake can leaking from the parking brake to the service brake side do you?

I was looking at a Wabco site and it was saying possibly a Wheel Speed Sensor.
