how many miles can a Detroit 12.7 Go without an in frame?

How pretty is a waitress at closing time? Your asking a question no one can answer. Blew the motor out of a brand new Pete, with 6 K miles on it. I was not behind the wheel.

 

Um.....dyno would help answer that mine had a new head a 1 mil have replaced cac turbo air comp 2x and buncha little crap but we are at 1480231 and still kicken bout gallon every 10k oil change every 17k with one gallon lucas clean oil samples and an overhead every 120 k. Yrmv

 

I drove an old Volvo with a Detroit S60 in it for my father in laws company and that had 2 million miles( canadian truck but it was miles NOT Kilometers) on it. It had been a team truck for the first 1.5 million when he bought it. It burnt more oil than fuel but could still pull a 140k pound set of loaded super B tanks all day long no problems! Its still working on the farm pulling the tri axle grain trailer during harvest.
