Can anyone tell me the best way to setup Quicken as a company driver? I want to simplify next years tax prep and be able to track my expenses.

What are some of those programs and what is a rough estimate for cost? Where can someone get these programs?

I would say quicken would work if you were to set up special accounts aimed at the trucking part. I personally use the quicken home and business. I run a business that I cannot say because of the their rules in addition to the trucking life that requires such a program. You can make the accounts the way you want.

The cheapest way is to use a spreadsheet program.

You can have columns for the expenses and the date. You can also list the nights out on the road.
