Is it normal for the truck brakes to be squeaking when coming to a stop? Just wondering.

Common enough. Assuming you have done a thorough pretrip and they are all working properly, it is probably just glazed linings.

Is it a "squeak" or more of a deep "squall". Do you hear this bob-tailing or is it on a trailer? If a "squeak", it could be indicative of metal to metal which is not good. But you will often get some weird squeaking noises following operation through deep, [maybe muddy] water but typically clears up shortly.

It happens as long as it doesnt sound like grinding of metal. Whatever you do dont do what that one ####### did and use wd-40 on them.

I want all my brakes to squeel as loud as possible. Its like blowing the horn when the light turns red. Get out of my way I may not be able to stop.
