There's a truck parking area between 81 and the exit for 522 on 66. Has chemical toilet facilities.

Should say eastbound side only but I'm guessing you're coming on 81.

    Sorry, should clarified.

I am looking to park after delivery.

Going to rest area is no problem, but can I find a spot???

I think this DG doesn't have parking area.

You flying DG colors on your trailer? I ask b/c I'm doin' route like that now and I've found that if your obviously delivering to their local stores the locals will let you get away with parking they'd write us up in a skinny minute for in a generic OTR marked rig. Grocery stores and Wally Worlds that have no truck parking signs out will a LOT of times let you park if you're pulling a trailer marked with a local store's markings. But make sure you ask and explain that you're delivering (even if you already delivered - that's STILL a local delivery) local and are out of hours and fuss a little about the "darned electronic logs the DOT has forced down our necks". You will be surprised at how far that goes. But always CYA if you're gonna park like that and get permission (using your people skills that I know you have from dealing with retail) and I usually buy a little something, write "parked with permission" on it and wedge the receipt in the window on the driver's door so if a private security guy or local LEO comes nosing around he sees it before bangin' on the door and goes: "Oh. OK." and rides right along.

So far that's worked real well for me. There's always an exception, though. If they have a Lowe's or Home Depot that's good too. They never mess with you there and you get free high speed WiFI.

There is a small (and I do mean small) Quarles Petroleum/7-11 on the northbound side of 522 just above the I-66 interchange. Maybe 10 spots, but in my experience usually full.

Aside from that there aren't many places that close to park. I'd avoid parking in any of the nearby walmarts unless you're shopping and not staying long. And, that parking area that Packrat mentioned is very frequently a DOT inspection stop.

I've delivered to that DC and you can't stay there after delivery. Very little parking for a DC. I always had a pickup following that did have parking, but it was a long ways off.

That's a hard area to find truck parking in. Theres a small fuel stop on 81 before you get to flying j but cant remember the exit number (somewhere between the 313 and the 321 mm)? Going north it will be on the right. Its just an exit or two below the J, which is the 323mm. Theres a station with a pretty good sized parking lot on 522 above Front Royal but you can only get a couple of trucks in it. Its at the intersection of 522 and 340.

DO NOT park at the WalMart. You will be run off or ticketed, we used to be able to park up there but too many trashy drivers ruined that

I stopped in to grab a headlight a few weeks ago (one of the only places off that end of 66 that's open 24 hours), and there were a handful of trucks parked in there. Still wouldn't chance it. I used to live in Front Royal, and the local sheriffs can be pretty prickly at times.

go on past the Quarles truck stop down to the Dupont DC. Lots of trucks park on the side of the road leading up to Dupont. No one would be the wiser whether you are delivering there or not.
