Con Way / Consolidated Freight

Does anyone have any info on Con Way? Was recently offered a job and would like some first hand info about the company. Thanks!

ConWay is the non-union side of Corn Flake. I drove for CF for nine years, union. CF closed the doors and moved the freight over to ConWay. I really don't know too much about ConWay since I never worked for them.

Good Luck.

We read the other Con Way thread and got a lot of good info from it. Thanks! We really didn't "check out" the company before he applied for the job. We just heard it was a good company and called to see if they were hiring, and they were. So my sister (Roadhog) told us to get on here and ask for more info (pay, benefits, hours, company stability, reputation, anything to watch out for, etc.) Pretty much if what they say is what they DO. So far we haven't heard anything bad. But if anyone has any more info please let us know. And thanks a lot!! This seems like a pretty informative site! Especially for newbie's!
