I'm thinking Goodyear G362 or G572? Another option I'm considering is Firestone FD691. I'm in IL and I go mostly to NE, CO so most important for me is snow/ rain handling of the tire.

If you have experience with any of those models please share.

Price is not a big factor, just need some reliable, good tires.

    Thanks

Goodyear=junk, they wear out too fast. The best longest lasting, good tread depth, mud/snow/ dry drive tire is the Bridgestone M726EL.

The m726el is a long lasting drive tire but has horrible rolling resistance. I use michelin xdn2 good snow traction and long lasting i have over 300k on them and still have 7/32nd's tread. I run in the snow a lot during the winter in co,wa,or,id,mt, etc. Never had an issue with them.

I've had good luck with Firestone or Bridgestone, same company.

I put 8 new Goodyear G362s on my truck back in March. I run team all over and they look just like the day we had them installed at wingfoot. So, no complaints here so far. If the price was not a factor though I would have gone with Michelin. The Goodyears were about half the price of Michelin. Good luck.

Good info. I'm looking to put on some new drive tires too and was looking at switching from my Bridgestones to Michelin (it's a price issue for me, much better deal on Michelin). I have zero complaints about the Bridgestones though so I'm kind of up in the air. Either way I'm getting new shoes before the end of October.

Xdn2 is great winter tire but pricey. But they tend to last a long time if properly aired up in snow and ice it will walk circles around 726el due to its softer compound and extra siping. We have a few guys running that on winter then they switch to a all position in summer for the better fuel mileage

Michelin and Bridgestone tires are my favorites.

I have had the 572's since they first came out. You won't be sorry. I'm very happy with their performance and wear and would buy them again tomorrow if I needed to, but I'll get 500k out of these, and I am only half way there.
