student driver looking for job with speeding ticket of 17 mph over

    I was just denied a job with Empire Express due to my mvr report of a speeding ticket for 72 in a 55. I received the citation a year a half ago. Their policy is no recent tickets of 15 mph over within past three years. Are there any companies that will hire me with a 17 mph over ticket in last year and half. This has me very discouraged. This is the only ticket even on my record.

    To the insurance companies that's reckless driving. Might want to call the companies and ask. Usually it's 5 years, some 3 years. It all depends on the company. Good luck to you.

    Yes, but it's a doozie - 15 over is a bad one.

    Try Carolina Cargo. Don't get too excited about the pay rate.

    Thank you very much. I have a valid question and I am sure the majority of people have had at least one speeding ticket before and if not, we can almost guarantee that they have just never been caught speeding. We have all went over the speed limit for one reason or another at some point in our lives.

    17 miles up is very difficult to find a company that we work.
    looking and if these smaller companies are distributors of their own products better, you may find something.

    No you were not rude. It was the guy asking me if I understand why as if just BC I'm a student driver that I am an ignorant child who came across rude. RIGHT?
