So I'm at a freightliner dealer getting some work done.I go out to check my trailer and there's a guy
parked next to it pouring fuel in his truck. The cap is off my trailer and guage is on E.I asked him if he got enough fuel.He jumped in his truck and hauled ### out of there.I didn't clock his ### since I'm leased to a company that pays for reefer fuel, and I only fight to protect from injury, death,or having my money taken.Filed a report with sheriff giving all truck infoand told company what happened.Handled correctly or not?
    Handled

If you got the company name, call and turn him in for running off-road fuel in his truck and IFTA tax fraud.

I say no... A beat down to the ground is what he needed... He would have been arrested after you did your true justice to him without a doubt.

Just curious, was he another semi driver, or putting it in a pick up? Either way he's a scumbag.

I know the difference between a truck and a pick-up.

After I got back to the hotel,I went online and found the guy.It was easy, since he's a 1-man,1 truck operation out of Cali with a website for his company, complete with pics of he and his truck.

This was at Freightliner in Knoxville,TN in broad daylight.

Send him a bill for the fuel lost. Tell him if your company receives payment within 5 business days, no further action will be taken. I'm sure California would find it very interesting how his truck get's over 12 MPG based on available fuel receipts and the fraud this entails.

These people need to be dealt with. He probably steals more then a 1/3 of the fuel he burns, if not much more.
