Well my company saw fit to take me out my 2012 manual 10spd international it had 360000mi when I got thru with it. Now I have a brand new automatic 10sp freightlinner it had less than 4000mi when they thought were blessings me with new trk. The say take it try it out if I still don't like it I will get a older trk manual back. But folks im still not getting over reaching for my stick and clutch. Its been 2weeks now. They are trying to trick me into training this trk has 2bunks they claim thats all they had. The talk on yard is they are trying to bring in more female trainees. I think I been doooped!! But hay it still got new truck smell.

ShortBusKid and bigkev1115 Thank this.

But do you like the new truck?

took me about 2 months to get used to not having a to shift or work a clutch, once you really get going, you'll forget.
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
We have Auto 10 spds at work in our Cascadias. I hated them at first, and I still hate them a year later.
I can't stand them, Some people like them. Our company is testing out some trucks with 12 speed autos. I think they said the trucks were Macks or Volvos, not sure. I really wish they would allow owner operators. -
We've got the 12 speeds and they are a huge improvement over the old models. It makes training dull though. Never realized how much of my time was spent teaching guys how not to destroy my truck.

I believe you officially need to change your profile to "Wannabe" now. -
