Don't blame your Dog,or your GPS,or your bluetooth,my girlfriend flashed me or I didn't have mommy tuck me in.
Every reason given for said accident will soon generate more regulations.
Just man up and say I had a momentary laps in concentration and let it go.
After all, trucking is nothing more than"Unskilled Labor" . tic

Oh boy. This one is going to get a lot of attention ... standing by. Don't get me wrong, I may be one of the few here who sort of agrees with much of what the OP is saying.

AMEN to that! Make no statement whatsoever at the scene of the accident. Particularly to another driver involved. Get your pictures, and get busy documenting what happened, immediately after rendering whatever ABC type first aid is necessary. Even if it quite obvious as to who is at fault, and no matter which party it is, keep your mouth shut.

You will likely have to give a brief statement to law enforcement on scene however. Confine it to what happened as you saw it. Just do not make any accusations, or admissions. That is not your job right now.

Sorry, but it takes a lot of skill to drive with your knees while surfing Facebook with one hand, and eating a sandwich in the other hand while listening to heavy metal with volume in your earbuds turned all the way up.

Anybody who says otherwise is just crazy.

But, somehow, "Truck driving is easy", and words to that effect, are very often not.

You were right with your first sentence, then went the other way.
