Richmond Indiana. I-70 scales?

    Heading that way, been a few years. Last time they were shutdown, looked like they were either gonna tear them down or rebuild them. Open, closed, totally gone?

    Been closed EB just over the line in OH, I go thru there twice a week. Then again I go through at two in the morning. WB in Richmond been closed every time I been through. Got barrels and things set up on the entrance.

    They rebuilt the scale platform and they are going to reopen them this week.
    I parked my oversize there last Thurs. and the scale people were inside getting things ready..

    Not worried at all my friend. It's because I always enjoy stopping at the various scales as I travel the country. It gives me great pleasure to chat with the friendly and knowledgeable people that work there, share a donut or two and a cup of coffee. Camaraderie is severely lacking between us trucking professionals and the warm and engaging folks in the enforcement industry, don't you think?

    so you are one of those that preach "if you aren't doing anything wrong,you have nothing to worry about" types it seems.

    your day is coming and it matters not how legal you think you are.right scale wrong time and you too will start asking ahead of time.i bet that you even install and start using a cb after you get hit at some as yet undetermined scale.
