wouldn't think ya would. just when your at the dmv getting the license changed fill out the self cert form and they'll take care of it there, no need to fax or email anything.

When you go to the DPS office to transfer your CDL, bring your medical card and your copy of the long form too if you can.

I really dont understand why people ask about licensing info here. This is not the dam dmv. Your already on the net might as well just go the the dmvs site and look for yourself or even call them and ask. What do you think?

No. The local drivers license office will have you fill out your self certification letter. (bring ur medical card)

Texas doesn't have a true department of motor vehicles.

Most licensing is done at the local Department of Public Safety office.

Registration and title transfers are done at the county tax assessors office.

They combined some aspects of both into a "DMV" but not all.

Hi MT, so,,,,, the Badger loses another cheesehead, hey? Good for you. I hope to get to Colorado this Spring. I've found, when ever I got a different job, the new company wanted their own med card, and the previous one was no good. Might have changed. And check with Texas DOT. I know, when I thought of moving to Cal., I had to surrender everything, and start over with Cal. stuff, no thanks. Good luck in Texas, YEEEHAAAWWW!!!!
